Directorate: Housing, Regeneration and Operations Section: Waste Services Location: Hanford/Burslem Household Waste Recycling Centre Grade: Level 6 Salary: £28,598 - £31,022 Hours: 37 hours per week This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants. Waste Services are recruiting an LGV Driver to work on the Handford and Burslem Recycling Centres. The successful applicant must hold a valid driver certificate of professional competence qualification card (CPC) and undertake the required levels of training to ensure its validity and held an LGV licence for at least 2 years. The job role is transporting skips from the site to the disposal/recycling facilities within the city, experience of working on a depot or waste transfer station is an advantage. You will also be expected to work on the site advising the public and carrying out housekeeping duties when not driving.
