Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, engaging Year 1 lessons, following the KS1 National Curriculum.
* Support phonics and early reading development using structured schemes.
* Provide differentiated instruction to support a wide range of learning abilities.
* Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them engaged in their child's progress.
* Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENDCo, and subject coordinators to enhance pupil outcomes.
* Contribute to wider school initiatives, including extra-curricular activities and school events.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in KS1 teaching.
* A creative and engaging teaching style that promotes a love of learning.
* Strong understanding of phonics schemes (e.g., Read Write Inc., Letters and Sounds).
* The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
* Excellent classroom management skills and a proactive approach to pastoral care.
