Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and hotel experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Weekend availability is a must. Bar and Barista experience preferred.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant or hotel staff to ensure efficient service delivery
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
* Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and provide training to optimise performance
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all operations
* Assist with food production, including preparing ingredients and overseeing kitchen activities
* Monitor service quality, address guest concerns promptly, and implement improvements as needed
* Maintain a welcoming environment for guests, fostering positive relationships and ensuring satisfaction
* Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members
* Collaborate with management on operational planning, inventory control, and cost management
Experience
* Proven supervising experience within the hospitality sector, ideally in restaurants or hotels
* Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
* Experience in team management, leadership roles, and staff training programmes
* Familiarity with restaurant or hotel service standards, including serving and barista skills is advantageous
* Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef or kitchen assistant is preferred but not essential
* Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of hospitality and service excellence

Pay: £12.21-£18.84 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 45 per week
