About the Role A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a talented Music Teacher to join their performing arts department. You'll deliver engaging music lessons across all key stages. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum. Prepare students for instrumental or vocal performances and examinations. Develop students' musical skills, including theory, composition, and performance. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the music curriculum and resources. Organise and lead music-related extracurricular activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Music. Proven experience in teaching music at secondary level, including A-Level. Strong musical skills and knowledge of music theory and performance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
