We are excited to be offering a one-year Internal Medicine Internship for veterinarians who have completed a rotating internship and wish to advance their clinical training in internal medicine.

The team
Paragon is a small, supportive and friendly team and we aim to provide a service of the highest possible standards in a busy, stimulating and supportive environment.
We have a close-knit medicine team which includes diplomates, advanced practitioners and residents. Our busy medicine team work closely with the ECC and oncology diplomates to ensure the best care for animals under their care. The internal medicine intern is involved in the day to day running of the hospital, including admitting and discharging patients, assisting with investigations and ensuring that there is excellent communication between the nursing and veterinary teams.
We are keen to support the development of vets throughout their careers and have a number of residency programmes as well as a rotating internship.
Paragon has an exceptionally friendly team for which you can feel the friendly team atmosphere as soon as you enter the building. They also benefit from having anaesthetists and two ECC diplomates on site and an exceptional nurse team They also have a dedicated nurse training lead who is responsible for quality training, mentoring and supporting the nurses who all undertake regular training and specific area inductions. The team also comprises of globally recognised diplomates in medicine, oncology, anaesthesia, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, cardiology, neurology and ECC.
