We work closely with clients on high-impact roles across major programmes, infrastructure projects, and consulting environments.
The Role:
We’re looking for experienced freelance recruiters who can step in and deliver immediately. You’ll work on live roles across engineering, consulting, and construction-related disciplines, either independently or embedded within client teams.
This is a delivery-focused role suited to recruiters who already have strong networks and know how to generate high-quality, engaged candidates quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source, engage, and qualify candidates across:
* Engineering (Civil, Structural, Electrical)
* Project Management & PMO
* Project Controls & Cost Management
* Procurement & Commercial Management
* Construction & Infrastructure roles
* Manage candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle (outreach → screening → submission → interview → offer)
* Partner with Hire Pals and/or client stakeholders to refine role requirements
* Build and maintain talent pipelines for repeat hiring needs
* Deliver high-quality shortlists aligned to client expectations
* Provide market insight (availability, salary trends, competitor activity)
What We’re Looking For:
Experience
* Proven track record recruiting in one or more of:
* Engineering (civil, structural, electrical)
* Construction / infrastructure
* Consulting environments (e.g. PA Consulting, Atkins, Turner & Townsend, etc.)
* Experience placing roles across PM, PMO, Project Controls, Commercial, or Procurement
* Strong understanding of regulated environments (e.g. defence, SC-cleared roles is a plus)
Capability
* Able to generate candidates without relying solely on inbound applications
* Strong LinkedIn sourcing and headhunting capability
* Confident running candidate screening calls and qualifying effectively
* Able to manage multiple roles and stakeholders simultaneously
* Commercially aware – understands client expectations and delivery pressure
Profile Fit
* Self-sufficient and proactive
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Existing network in relevant industries is highly valuable
