Specialist Cleaner – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services
Hourly rate: £12.75
Contract type: Fixed 3‑month term
Employment type: Full time
Total weekly hours: 37.5
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 8:00–16:00
Location: 5 Forli Strada, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England, PE7 3HH
The role requires good physical strength and ground work. You will ensure cleaning equipment is kept safe, clean and in working order while meeting all agreed SLA targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals in the designated area, following Health & Safety requirements.
* Perform general cleaning tasks at the Tank Farm, DAF area (shutters, spillages, bucket emptying) and the Plant Deck (hoovering, dust control, use of jet washers, scrubber machines).
* Complete all required training and deliver the cleaning role safely and efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
* Ability to communicate and read basic English.
* Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
* Flexible approach, reliable, self‑driven, determined and hardworking with a professional attitude.
