Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef located in Gateshead. The Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Additional responsibilities include menu planning, inventory management, and collaborating with the management team to enhance the dining experience.
Qualifications
* Experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen hygiene
* Skills in menu planning and inventory management
* Leadership abilities to manage kitchen staff
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
* Creativity and passion for cooking
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Formal culinary training or a degree in Culinary Arts is a plus
* Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
