Join our London-based Further Education team as a Curriculum Manager and lead the development and delivery of outstanding, industry-relevant programmes that shape your students’ futures. You will play a pivotal role in driving forward strategic objectives and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and learner experience across our Engineering curriculum and services.
This full-time, permanent role involves leading on the development and delivery of exceptional educational provision, collaborating with staff across departments to implement innovative and inclusive practices, and driving performance and accountability through effective leadership and management.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and delivery of high-quality, learner-focused curriculum programmes in Engineering.
* Collaborate with staff across departments to implement innovative and inclusive practices that support learners and colleagues to thrive.
* Line manage teaching and support staff, driving performance, quality, and accountability.
* Design, plan, and deliver curriculum provision that meets compliance, funding regulations, and quality assurance requirements.
* Use data to improve learner attendance, retention, and progression.
* Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective and high-impact delivery.
* Prepare for and contribute to internal and external audits, inspections (e.g., Ofsted), and quality reviews.
Qualifications
* Proven success in leading teams or departments within an educational or comparable setting.
* Deep understanding of curriculum design, quality assurance, and student achievement.
* Strong strategic thinking, communication, and people management skills.
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective partnerships internally and externally.
* A commitment to inclusive and empowering learning environments.
* A proactive, strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement and learner success.
* A relevant teaching qualification and leadership training (or willingness to obtain these).
