and main responsibilities
Typing and sending correspondence under guidance of the management teams
• Supporting internal communication and co-ordinating a monthly Newsletter.
• Extracting ward quality data and updating information boards.
• Supporting the practice Educator with co-ordination of training and updating databases and
staff competencies.
• Use of the hospital computer system to access patient details. CRT must be used at all times
when receiving and moving notes. This is mandatory within the Trust.
• General administration i.e., photocopying, faxing and general filing. Taking meeting notes and
writing these up.
• Recording staff annual leave, sickness and training data on ESR and Healthroster, and
booking staff onto training courses using ESR.
• Managing the Clinical Leads diaries, arranging meetings and venues.
• To maintain patient safety through rigorous and consistent compliance with Trust policies for
the prevention and control of infection, including hand hygiene.
• To undertake appropriate mandatory training and updates in infection prevention and control.
• Attend meetings, take minutes, Action Logs and distribute accordingl
