This position involves leading the private client tax department and providing expert tax advisory services. The Private Tax Director will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of high net worth clients and driving the strategic growth of the tax department. Expertise in Trusts planning & advisory is preferred.

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm with a significant presence across South West, offering comprehensive compliance & advisory services. With a split tax function, our client is looking to grow their specialist Private Tax team to partner with local solicitors, HNWI's & agricultural clients.
Description
* Lead the private client tax department and manage a portfolio of high net worth clients.
* Deliver high-level tax advisory services.
* Develop and implement strategies for departmental growth.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated services to clients.
* Foster a positive and high-performing work environment within the department.
* Stay updated with the latest industry developments and changes in tax legislation.
Profile
A successful Private Tax Director should have:
* A professional qualification in Tax or Accountancy - ATT, ACA, ACCA, CTA (QBE will be considered).
* Proven experience in a tax leadership role within a professional services firm.
* Excellent knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
* Outstanding client relationship management skills.
* The ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
Job Offer
