About the role
The role of Senior Electrical Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer is for a forward-thinking individual who wants to be challenged every day. To be a successful Senior Electrical Manufacturing Engineer you will need the ability to take complex problems and form solutions that meet quality standards in a multitude of sectors that include Defence, Aerospace and Nuclear, just to name a few. Responsibilities include:
* Taking client briefs and creating bespoke solutions with a quality-first attitude
* Draw up support documentation for quotations such as system schematics, marking up drawings for cable assembly designs
* Ensure the customer receives the quote and any necessary support in a timely manner
* Creating detailed work instructions and drawings for the production team
* Production of test procedures
* Support the sales team by answering technical queries or investigating and solving technical issues
About you
To be successful for the role of Senior Electrical Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer it is essential that you have:
* BEng or MEng or time Served Electrical Engineer
* A solid fundamental understanding of electrical engineering
* The ability to do calculations (load/drop)
* Experience in running a project of any size (no formal qualification needed)
* Design for Manufacture experience
* Worked within a tightly regulated industry such as Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear
About the rewards
The position of Senior Electrical Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer offers a salary of £36,000 to £44,000 per annum. Benefits include:
