This 6 Month contract role provides senior-level specialist resource to accelerate the delivery, embedding, and enhancement of the Group Risk Management Framework (GRMF) in the Connells Group. The contractor will focus on uplift, implementation, and embedding of key GRMF components aligned to Connells and Skipton Group expectations.
Responsibilities
* GRMF implementation & delivery - support GRMF workstreams including taxonomy, RCSAs, control frameworks, KRPs, and documentation.
* Risk identification & assessments - facilitate Level 1 and Level 2 risk assessments, completing outstanding items and aligning to GRMF standards.
* Controls framework & testing - support definition of material and key controls, deliver Provision 29-aligned testing and evidence capture.
* Risk appetite, metrics & reporting - refine Risk Appetite Statements, metrics and deliver reporting to ERC, ARC and Skipton.
* Risk events & breach reporting - develop and embed enhanced reporting approaches and support Resolver system uplift.
* Resolver implementation - support build-out of risks, controls, tests, events and MI within Resolver.
* Risk culture, training & awareness - develop and deliver training and raise awareness to risk champion networks.
* Stakeholder engagement & change enablement - partner with business leaders to embed GRMF expectations and provide challenge.
* Project governance & reporting - produce programme updates, RAID items, PoaPs and governance materials.
* Flexibility & capacity uplift - provide additional senior capacity to the EWRM team to meet GRMF delivery milestones.
Working Relationships
Internal: Enterprise Risk team, Risk & Compliance SLT, functional SMEs, subsidiaries, Internal Audit, Change & Delivery teams.
External: Skipton Group Risk, Resolver support teams, external stakeholders where required.
Experience, Skills and Personal Qualities

* Strong RCA facilitation and control framework knowledge
