Package: Salary starting from £39,280 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and experience)

AWE is recruiting a Quality Engineer to support internal and external stakeholders within their area. The role involves working as part of a cross-functional team to deliver improvements through collaboration on projects and programs.

* Product Certification
* Quality Control Grading (QC1)

Preferred experience includes:
* Non-conformance management (Teamcenter Problem Report / 8D)
* Defect Review Panel / Corrective & Preventive Actions
* Quality Control Plans
* Product Lifecycle Management (Configuration controls & stage gate reviews)
* Management System Audits
* Ensuring Quality at all stages of program, project, trial, or production
* Providing technical guidance and customer support
* Continuous improvement in Quality capabilities
* Lean Six Sigma Knowledge/Experience
Desirable skills include knowledge of manufacturing techniques in a Machine Shop environment (Milling / Turning / Additive Manufacturing).
You should be able to work calmly in a changing environment, manage your workload, and meet deadlines with initiative and enthusiasm.
