We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join our team and help shape the futures of our students through inspiring and dynamic teaching.
The Role
As a Science Teacher, You Will
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in secondary Science, including GCSE and A-Level content.
* Develop a curriculum that sparks curiosity, creativity, and academic excellence.
* Promote a classroom culture rooted in care, structure, and high expectations.
* Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support student progress and wellbeing.
Science Teacher Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that cater to individual learning needs.
* Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages student engagement.
* Monitor student progress through regular assessment and feedback.
* Contribute to whole-school initiatives, enrichment activities, and trips.
* Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students in line with school policies.
* Act as a form tutor and liaise with families, SENCO, and the multidisciplinary team.
What We're Looking For
* A degree in a relevant subject
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Eligible to teach and work in the UK
* Demonstrated success raising attainment in a secondary setting
* Experience working with students with diverse needs is desirable
* Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation
* Resilience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
