Job description
Our Client, is seeking Spray Painters to join their team based in Maghera.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for preparing parts and assemblies for painting.
* Mix paint and other materials according to specification or formula.
* Ensure facility and spray-painting equipment are in good working condition.
* Responsible for the identification and separation of non-conforming parts or materials and report them to supervisors.
* Utilize spray gun and apply paint in conformance with all specifications.
* Employ heat or oven paint drying techniques for special purpose finishes.
* Utilize solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment.
* Follow company requirements.
* Responsible for material and minor maintenance.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* At least 3 - 5 years’ experience spraying Furniture.
* Proficient in operating and adjusting spray guns, understanding pressure settings, and knowing how to maintain and clean equipment is essential.
* A good understanding of how to prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and applying undercoats - there are vital for a quality finish.
* A good Understanding of different types of paints and coatings, their properties, and how they interact with various surfaces is important.
* Have great attention to detail.
* Good Manual Dexterity.
* Have good communication and able to follow instructions.
* Have a willingness to work overtime, evenings and weekends as required.
