About the role We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Administrator to join our High Street Payroll team, based at our Support Centre in Swindon. Key duties will include; Managing the end-to-end weekly, monthly, and year-end payroll process to ensure timely and accurate payments. Outsourced payroll for roughly 5,000 employees. Manging the weekly expenses process, approvals and payment files. Compiling, preparing, processing, and inputting payroll data with a high degree of accuracy. Managing the Payroll inbox, investigating and resolving escalated payroll queries and issues efficiently. Reviewing and improving payroll procedures, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency. Staying up to date with payroll legislation and advising the business on necessary changes. Supporting the Payroll Manager and providing cover during periods of absence. Experience required for this role will include; Strong knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation and processing, ideally from within a retail or multi-site environment minimum of 3 years payroll prior payroll experience Proficient in Excel (vlook-up & pivot tables); knowledge of Dayforce is highly desirable Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work under tight deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion CIPP qualification (desirable) or equivalent professional experience About us Joining TGJones means becoming part of a company that values its people as its greatest asset.
