We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Barnsley for a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to join a thriving business that truly values its employees. The role offers a varied workload and would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on across all areas of accounts. There is genuine potential for the position to become permanent following an initial 4-month temporary period for the right candidate.
Duties will include
* Purchase ledger
* Sales ledger
* Credit control
* Processing invoices and payments
* Reconciling accounts
* General finance administration
* Supporting the wider accounts team where required
The ideal candidate
* Previous experience within an accounts or finance role
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident communicator
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience using accounting software is advantageous
