We seek an inspirational, caring, reliable, and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time, fixed-term position available as soon as possible, subject to pre-employment and safeguarding checks.
The ideal candidate will:
* Support and assist the teacher in the classroom with various tasks, working collaboratively and serving as a positive role model for children
* Have experience supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups to help them achieve their individual targets
* Be self-motivated and flexible
* Possess good communication skills and excellent organizational abilities
* Be willing to contribute to curriculum development and the broader life of the school through professional learning and development
The selection process includes a storytelling session/activity with pupils lasting approximately fifteen minutes, observed by the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher. Successful candidates will then be invited for an interview with the leadership team and a governing body member.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers must share this commitment. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
This role requires registration with the EWC.
