We have an exciting opportunity for an 8a Psychologist Practitioner to join our service at Coventry and Warwickshire. Development opportunities at band 7 are also available.
This is a full-time, permanent role in a growing CAMHS eating disorders out-patient service. There will be opportunities to contribute to service development across initiatives and to develop your interests within the whole eating disorder pathway (CAMHS out-patient, intensive outreach and ARFID).
We are looking for motivated and committed psychologists for this band 8a post, or to apply as a band 7 development post with the opportunity to progress to band 8a via supported professional development. We offer flexibility around working patterns, hours and location across Coventry and Warwickshire.
To provide a highly specialist psychology service to children and young people and families with complex and severe eating disorders. Clinically, the post-holder will be responsible for individual case management, highly specialist psychological assessments, highly complex formulations, and direct therapeutic work. They will provide specialist advice and consultation to multiagency professionals and carers, and utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development. The post holder will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the team’s policies and procedures.
