Job Title: Business Development Representative (IT & Managed Services)

Location: Cullen, NE Scotland/Hybrid

Reporting to: Managing Director

We are entering an exciting growth phase and are looking for a tenacious, articulate Business Development Representative to spearhead our outbound efforts.


The Role

Your mission is simple: Identify, engage, and qualify. You will be responsible for the \"top of the funnel.\" You won't be expected to close the technical sale; your success is measured by the number of high-quality appointments you book for our Sales Lead.


Key Responsibilities:

* Prospecting: Research and identify local businesses (SMEs) that fit our ideal client profile (20–100 employees).
* Outbound Outreach: Use a mix of cold calling, LinkedIn networking, and personalized email sequences to reach decision-makers (MDs, FDs, and Operations Managers).
* Qualification: Understand a prospect's current IT \"pain points\"—security fears, slow support, or outdated systems—and position A-P Systems as the solution.
* Appointment Setting: Secure 10–15 qualified discovery meetings per month for the Sales Lead.
* CRM Management: Keep our CRM updated to ensure no lead falls through the cracks.


About You

* The \"Hunter\" Mentality: You enjoy the challenge of the \"cold start\" and aren't discouraged by a \"no.\"
* Articulate & Professional: You can hold a peer-to-peer conversation with a Finance Director or Business Owner.
* Tech-Curious: You don’t need to be a Senior Engineer, but you should be able to explain the value of Managed Services and Cloud Technology.
* Organized: You can manage a high volume of activity without losing track of details.
* Experience: 1–2 years in a B2B sales or lead generation role (IT/SaaS experience is a major plus).
