Our client is a Design & Build Main Contractor with a strong track record of delivering exceptional projects. We are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a pivotal role in managing an £18 million project. This position will be based out of their offices in St. Paul's with site visits.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of the project, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Management: Manage project costs effectively, including budget preparation, cost forecasting, and monitoring expenditure.
2. Procurement: Lead the procurement process for subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project specifications.
3. Contract Administration: Administer contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, including the negotiation of terms, variations, and final account settlements.
4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks, implementing strategies to minimize potential cost overruns and delays.
5. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including cost-to-complete analyses and cash flow forecasts.
