Position: Warehouse Operative
Based: Leeds, LS14 1FB (Warehouse Based)

Working Hours: 37.5 Monday to Friday 12pm - 8pm
Salary: £23,809.50

Key duties include:
* Picking & dispatching orders in line with processes and order requirements.
* Ensuring all products and packaging comply with quality control standards before being dispatched.
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck.
* Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
* Taking goods to the appropriate storage space – perhaps using loading and lifting gear for heavy goods.
* Continuously carrying out quality control checks throughout handling goods in, picking, packing and dispatching processes.
* Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly.
* Replenish stock as required and ensure that any stock movements are carried out correctly using handheld scanners.
* Assemble education kits efficiently in line with procedures and internal requests.
* Carry out Perpetual Inventory counting.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by ensuring a high standard of housekeeping and adhering to health and safety policies and procedures at all time.
* *Please note this is a physically demanding role which requires long periods of standing and walking within our large warehouse.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in picking and packing.
* Attention to detail.
* Able to follow any written or verbal instructions from the management team.
* Good understanding of health and safety within a warehouse.
* Previous warehouse experience and Knowledge on WMS systems.
* A team player who enjoys their work and thrives in a vibrant, busy environment
* Keen to continuously learn and develop
* A cool head under pressure offering solutions, not problems
* Motivated enthusiastic self-starter
* Strong communication skills
