What the Job Involves In this role, you will contribute to the employee development following the Social Care Wales Workforce Development Programme principles. Your responsibilities include acting as an Assessor for social work students, overseeing access to professional education programmes, planning and supporting assessments, and coordinating social care work placements. You'll work closely with HEI programmes, support the delivery of various training programmes, deputise for the Training Manager, and keep abreast of professional development trends. You will be tasked with preparing reports, engaging in safeguarding practices, and supporting the Council's climate resilience and carbon reduction goals. Skills Social Work Qualification Experience in statutory social care setting Effective communication, both verbal and written Competency in IT and public sector policy Understanding of Social Care Wales and Welsh Government policies Ability to manage change and engage with stakeholders Experience in budget management and financial planning Ability to work independently and collaboratively
