 
        
        The Production Team Leader will report to the Production Manager at our Production facility at Tandragee. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate who wants to take the next step in their career in Food Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
 1. Monitor production processes to ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and quality control standards;
 2. Identify and resolve production issues promptly to maintain optimal efficiency and minimise downtime;
 3. Train and mentor new team members, ensuring they understand safety protocols, hygiene standards, and production techniques;
 4. Take ownership for achieving daily production targets, maintaining efficiency, and ensuring consistent product quality;
 5. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement;
 6. Work closely with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Despatch teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations across all departments.
The Person:
 7. Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a food manufacturing environment;
 8. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team;
 9. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and product quality;
 10. Effective problem-solving and decision-makingabilities in a fast-paced production setting;
 11. Good communication and collaboration skills, able to work closely with other departments.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
 12. Experience implementing lean manufacturingor continuous improvement practices;
 13. Relevant Health and Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent);
 14. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues.
Normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 2.00pm to 10.30pm.
