We are seeking an individual who can perform municipal engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction of public infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work to improve the local landscape and has knowledge in stormwater, water, wastewater, roadway design, and project management.

Responsibilities
1. Utilize design software, CAD, and other tools to plan, design, and permit municipal/public works projects, including water infrastructure, sanitary sewer infrastructure, roadway improvements, drainage studies, and stormwater management.
2. Assist local municipalities with plan reviews, project planning, and coordination with regulatory agencies.
3. Prepare funding applications, reports, studies, and grants related to municipal/public works projects.
4. Perform construction administration duties, including procurement, submittals, pay requisitions, change order reviews, and funding disbursements.
5. Attend municipal meetings and public hearings as necessary.
6. Coordinate permitting with local agencies.
7. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure successful project completion.
Education & Skills
The candidate should possess a four-year degree in civil engineering, with a minimum of four years of related experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to work effectively with municipalities and regulatory agencies are required. A Maryland or Delaware professional engineering license is preferred, or the ability to obtain one within 12 months of employment.
