Shift Team Leader – Biomass Power Station Excellent salary + bonus + benefits Sittingbourne, Kent MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Shift Team Leader to join the operations department of a modern biomass Power Station near Sittingbourne, Kent. This plant processes over 170,000 tonnes of waste wood a year producing around 23MW for the national grid. The Shift Team Leader will be responsible for directing and managing the shift team effectively to ensure the site meets its operational targets in a safe and efficient manner. As a Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for: Supervising a shift team of Control Room Operators and Fuel Loaders ensuring safe & efficient operation the plant Ensuring the plant is operating in line with the sites environmental permit Managing the safe systems of work as a site SAP for issuing permits Managing shift team resources to ensure effective training and development of operational staff Liaising with the maintenance department when required to ensure minimum downtime and maximum operational availability Carrying out all activities with the highest regard for health and safety Deputising for the Operations Manager when required To be considered for this role you should have: Experience at Shift Team Leader / Production Team Leader / Lead Operator or similar in a power generation environment.
