This role supports the delivery of the organisation's Procurement Strategy and Annual Procurement Plan, managing both planned and ad-hoc sourcing activity. You'll act as a key procurement contact for stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring value, compliance and strong supplier performance. Description Support and manage sourcing events aligned to the Annual Procurement Plan and ad-hoc business requirements Act as the first point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders on sourcing and contract queries Support contract management activities to maximise value and manage supplier performance Maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL) ensuring supplier competence and accreditation Promote and ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and governance Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement systems and initiatives (e.g. SRM tools) Assist in the development and implementation of new procurement policies and processes Profile Demonstrable procurement experience and/or MCIPS qualification with practical, end-to-end tendering experience Strong commercial awareness with a sound understanding of contract terms and supplier management Good working knowledge of EU procurement regulations and best-practice processes Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence and support at pace Proactive self-starter with strong ownership and accountability Experience using procurement systems and ERP platforms (ideally SAP S/4, Ariba or similar) Job Offer Competitive salary Hybrid working 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (flexible to reflect personal beliefs) Pension with Aviva: 5% employee contribution, doubled to 10% by the employer (15% total) 14x salary life assurance Flexible benefits scheme (gym, dental, health cash plans) Financial wellbeing programme Enhanced parental leave Retail discounts and cashback scheme Annual salary review and discretionary bonus Company sick pay In-house occupational health and employee assistance programme Comprehensive training and development
