Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team at Ideagen. The Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Head of Pricing in developing our pricing strategy across all products. This position is vital as we transition to a fully SaaS-based model, ensuring optimized pricing decisions for both new and existing customers, and enabling consistent pricing across our product range.
Responsibilities
* Building and maintaining pricing tools and models to enable pricing decisions
* Build and maintain a robust reporting platform to track pricing-related performance
* Analysis of customer-level pricing, delivering commercial recommendations to maximize value
* Creating profitability analyses of our products
* Constructing competitor pricing insights and continually monitoring the external market
* Engaging with stakeholders to understand and assess customer responses to our pricing framework
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst or in a similar analytical role
* Technically proficient with analytical tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL, with the ability to manipulate and interpret data effectively
* Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of pricing strategies and economic principles
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of constructing commercial recommendations and effectively presenting data-driven stories to stakeholders
* A collaborator who can build strong stakeholder networks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and challenges in pricing strategies
