Description Personal Care Assistant (PCA) We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our aged care team. In this role, you will support residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, meals, and social engagement. Skills And Experiences Successful candidates will have: Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate III in Individual Support (essential) or equivalent Certificate IV preferred Previous experience in Aged Care (desirable) Assisting Consumers with Medication (HLTHPS006 or CHCCS305C) (desirable) National Police Check (essential) 2021 Flu Vaccination (essential) COVID 19 Vaccination (essential) A current First Aid certificate The ability to work as a team player with superior communication skills An ability to follow nursing procedures as directed and in line with resident care plans The ability to report and document in line with the requirements of nursing procedures An awareness of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation process Experience within aged care and residents living with a diagnosis of Dementia Basic computer literacy Commitment to ongoing professional development Ability to work full time hours
