Product Manager - Finished Plaster Products
Are you a Product Manager with a background in manufacturing and a passion for physical products? Do you love working on strategy, market positioning, and product lifecycle? If so, we've got a fantastic opportunity for you.
We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Portfolio team, focusing on our Finish Plaster category. This is a key area of our business, responsible for some of our most strategically important product ranges, including over 20 plaster products and accessories.
Responsibilities:
* Shaping the long-term product strategy: identifying future market opportunities, customer needs, and growth sectors.
* Auditing and analyzing product performance: from margin analysis to customer satisfaction and unmet needs.
* Managing product lifecycles: determining product stages and shaping future innovations.
This role involves hands-on work, ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing product performance, conducting market research, and gaining customer insights.
Qualifications:
* Proven product management experience in manufacturing or physical products (this is not an IT or software role).
* Experience in B2B or B2C environments, such as construction, consumer goods, or food sectors.
* Strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and a strong understanding of product profitability.
* A team player who will collaborate closely with one other Product Manager (no direct reports).
* Willingness to visit our main manufacturing plant in Barrow regularly; a Midlands-based location is preferred.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact, strategically significant product ranges and influence the future of a vital business category. If you're seeking a dynamic, strategic role in product management involving tangible products, we would love to hear from you.
