Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and install various wooden structures and components. This role involves working with a variety of materials and tools to create high-quality finishes in residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
* Fabricate and assemble wooden structures
* Perform joinery tasks using hand tools and power tools to ensure precision in measurements and cuts.
* Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing wooden structures, ensuring safety and durability.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and masons, to complete projects efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on-site, particularly when using power tools or working at height on roofs.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools are stored correctly after use.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter is essential.
* Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools is required.
* Strong understanding of joinery techniques and practices is essential for success in this position.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship are crucial attributes for candidates applying for this role.
