Healthcare Support Worker - Emergency Department

We are looking for experienced Band 3 Emergency HCA's to join our nursing team at UHD. The candidate should have experience and evidence of working in an Emergency department and have completed their Band 3 nursing competencies or equivalent. They should be an excellent communicator, be able to work well as part of a team and autonomously.
This post is being advertised as a Band 3, however applicants that do not meet the required care certificate competencies will initially be employed as a Band 2. Applicants who hold a care certificate accreditation will start in post at Band 3.
As part of the interview process you will be asked to complete a numeracy and literacy assessment.

Please note this advert is for one full‑time permanent role and one full‑time fixed‑term role lasting 9 months.

To work as an effective member of the team under the supervision and direction of a registered health care professional, providing dignified, compassionate and safe care for patients whilst ensuring high standards of documentation are maintained.
