Hays Education are supporting a warm,munity-focused primary school in the Aldridge area who are seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join them from the end of April through to the end of the summer term.This school is well known for its inclusive ethos, nurturing environment, andmitment to ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Staff work collaboratively, champion creativity, and place strong emphasis on building positive relationships with pupils and families.
The Role
1. Full-time (5 days per week) teaching position in a well-resourced Year 2 class.
2. All planning is alreadypleted – you will simply adapt and “tweak” it to suit your teaching style and the needs of the class.
3. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
4. Join a supportive KS1 team where collaboration and shared practice are highly valued.
What We’re Looking For
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
6. Experience teaching in KS1 or Lower KS2.
7. A teacher who can quickly integrate into school life, uphold high expectations, and build strong relationships with pupils.
8. Someone enthusiastic, adaptable andmitted to delivering high‑quality learning experiences.
9. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new DBS through Hays.
