Join a prestigious automotive brand as a Technical Contracts Process Auditor based in Thorne. The role will also require visits to multiple sites, including Sywell, Killingholme, Southampton, and Dublin, with an expected average of up to two visits per month.
In this role you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge within a dynamic team. This full-time position offers a 37.5-hour work week, Monday to Friday with flexible/remote working opportunities.
The rate of pay is circa £40,000 per annum, depending on experience!
Your Time at Work
As a Technical Contracts Process Auditor, your role will encompass:
- Undertake process audits in collaboration with suppliers to eradicate waste, buffers and improve efficiency and quality of output and ensure the client's quality standards are maintained.
- Monitor damage and where it occurs in the supply chain. Oversee eradication and verify liability of costs.
- Support effective prioritisation of workflows through all Vehicle Distribution Centres and despatch areas, considering all routine predictable activity and any unforeseen but possibly urgent technical campaign/recall work.
- Address areas of supplier performance shortfall with corrective action plans, recognition of compromise areas, mitigation, and support application of service credits or tactical discretion as appropriate.
- Support setting of monthly or rolling targets and expectations for all supply chain service providers. Support regular documented performance reviews with suppliers, maintaining a record of the agenda and agreed actions / next steps.
- Monitor performance (within the supply chain) of all vehicle arrivals & hauliers against Estimated and Required Delivery Dates, ensuring quality standards are always achieved.
- Provide operating standards to service providers, review and monitor adherence to standards and policies.
- Manage Customer Complaints to effective resolution, liaising with all stakeholders regarding outcomes and actions taken/required.
- Authorise vehicle rectification work carried out at Vehicle Distribution Centres, ensuring charges are in line with contracted rates and that the correct liable parties are charged.
Purpose and subject of interaction with internal/external interfaces, negotiating mandate:
- Act as an ambassador of the Vehicle Distribution Centre in all relationships with external customers, suppliers and public bodies.
- Carry out Retailer, Group Site visits where necessary to gather evidence in order to resolve disputes/product quality issues.
- Investigate, attribute and report by route cause analysis transport and storage damages.
- Responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality of our client's Group products up to and including despatch.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a Technical Contracts Process Auditor who ideally has previous experience within a similar role, ideally within the Automotive Industry or similar, and who has exceptional auditing experience, clear communication/negotiation skills, and good time management/administration skills.
Essential Skills:
- Recognised educational background and/or experience within a similar role.
- Strong diplomacy skills and the ability to mediate with internal and external groups.
- Proficient in standard Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Product knowledge and/or knowledge of the automotive industry.
- Familiar with BS EN ISO 9001:2015 (QMS)
- Ability to problem solve, use structured techniques, analytical reasoning and collaboration, whilst thinking on your feet.
