About the role
Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work with Natural Resources on the Isle of Grain. We operate across four countries, providing safe, reliable energy network services, including work with oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors.
Key responsibilities
1. Ensure adherence to group procedures and governance on site.
2. Manage internal commercial reporting and other required reports.
3. Prepare valuations/applications for payment with supporting documentation.
4. Oversee cost reports to clients with supporting documentation.
5. Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules.
6. Administer subcontractor/supplier accounts and final accounts.
7. Handle contract administration, change management, and maintain related registers.
8. Identify commercial risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
9. Use appropriate cost coding satisfying internal and external requirements.
10. Measure quantities according to standard methods.
Candidate requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or a Quantity Surveyor ready to advance.
* Registered with RICS / ICES and working towards chartership.
* Experience in construction, engineering, or related commercial fields.
