Auditor - Belfast - Temporary
Reed Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-known Public Body Institution based in Belfast. Our client has an urgent requirement for several experienced Auditors to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. The roles will be for a period of 2-6 months, with an immediate start.
Reporting to an Audit Manager, the main duties and responsibilities include:
1. Deliver audits that meet quality standards
2. Prepare audit methods
3. Assist with audit fieldwork to ensure timely delivery
4. Summarise evidence and analysis
5. Draft clear, concise, and accurate documentation and findings
6. Formulate conclusions and constructive recommendations
7. Build and maintain professional relationships and address any difficulties
8. Organise own work according to the audit work plan and schedule
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
1. Current full membership of one of the following chartered accountant institutes:
o Chartered Accountants Ireland
o The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland
o The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
o The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
o The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
o The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy
o The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland
2. At least 1 year's recent experience in external audit of financial statements
3. Access to transportation to meet mobility needs of the role
4. Right to Work in the UK
