Pastry Chef de Partie - Contract Catering
A well-known contract catering company is looking for a Pastry Chef de Partie at a prestigious boarding school in the Redhill area, on the Surrey/Sussex border.
This role offers good working hours and opportunities for progression. The catering services serve 1000 students and teachers on site, so high-volume experience is essential.
You will be involved in preparing and creating high-quality food, assisting with both individual and team development. Working with fresh and nutritional ingredients, you should be passionate about excellence and eager to inspire our food offerings with innovative ideas.
Applicants must live nearby or be willing to commute.
Key Information:
* Salary: £14.35 per hour (40 hours a week, term time only)
* Shift Options: All roles are Monday to Friday with occasional weekends

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present food to meet standards
* Work under the Head Chef
* Maintain a clean and tidy work area
* Learn and develop under senior chefs
Requirements:
* Previous experience in contract catering or fresh food environments
* Willingness to learn and progress
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
