Job Title: Lettings Assistant

Salary: £23,330.15 per annum (rising to £25,622.14 after 12 months of successful performance)
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria

The Role
Deliver a quality lettings service for social housing, ensuring homes are let quickly and appropriately, at the required standard, minimizing rent loss due to empty homes. Work closely with teams to meet service goals and build customer trust.

Responsibilities
* Manage empty homes from notice to tenancy creation, working with teams to ensure quick, standard-compliant lettings
* Communicate with outgoing tenants and update housing applications
* Advertise properties in line with policies and partnerships
* Conduct pre-tenancy checks and support new tenants through digital sign-up
* Prepare documentation and ensure compliance with safety, safeguarding, equality, and data protection standards

Desirable
