Role
2026 Graduate Sustainability Consultant – Leeds. The role provides the opportunity to learn a wide range of energy and sustainability skills while helping internal teams deliver sustainability tasks for various projects.
You will Have the Opportunity To
* Undertaking building performance simulation and energy-related workstreams using a range of modelling approaches, tools, and techniques.
* Developing energy strategies with clients to lead sustainability innovation on developments.
* Supporting the development of holistic Sustainability Strategies where necessary.
* Assisting in the delivery of environmental assessments (e.g., BREEAM, WELL, HQM) from early design stages through to completion.
* Developing an understanding of whole life carbon reporting to support clients Net Zero Carbon strategies.
* Communicating and engaging with clients, design teams and contractors on projects, with opportunities to visit sites during construction phases.
* Involvement in industry research and development studies and authoring industry guidance; opportunities to influence national design commissions and industry bodies.

About You
To be successful in this role:
* Educated to degree level in Engineering, Architecture or the Built Environment.
* Knowledge or awareness of one or more of the following is desirable: BREEAM, WELL, Whole Life Carbon, Energy Modelling, sustainability governance and reporting, sustainability strategies, climate change adaptation, behaviour change, etc.
* You will be part of a dynamic team within a progressive and well-respected firm with good communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a team environment.
* You are serious about sustainability.
