We’re currently working alongside a local heating company who are looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to join their team. This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys supporting others, managing multiple tasks, and providing excellent customer service. The position offers potential to become permanent and opportunities within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out a range of general administrative duties to support the day-to-day running of the office.
* Handle incoming calls, assisting customers and transferring enquiries to the appropriate team.
* Contact customers to confirm appointments and planned works.
* Maintain and update spreadsheets and records using Microsoft Excel.
* Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure all planned works and schedules are kept up to date.
* Support the wider team with any ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not essential — full training will be provided.
* Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
