Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a growing organisation based in Wheatley (Oxford) to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst. The Senior Finance Analyst will receive a salary of up to £60,000 (potentially negotiable) along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working, a bonus and the opportunity to occasionally travel to Nordic offices!
Primary responsibilities;
* Preparation of monthly management results to customer brand level, input into the preparation of the Period Business Report presentation.
* Maintain standard costs and logistic tables.
* Lead the preparation of the monthly Business forecast, the BFR presentation and annual budget.
* Provide financial evaluations and business cases that ensure the profitability required by the company in the case of new launches and/or the development of new products, giving a subsequent periodic follow-up to the approved cases to raise alerts in case of presenting deviations with respect to the assumptions used in its construction that affect profitability.
* Analyse the deviations in the consolidated operating result of the commercial areas versus the plan, raising alerts and delivering information in a timely manner that allows taking corrective action plans
* Process improvement for monthly reporting and forecasting, using technology like Anaplan, Power BI, Power Query, etc.
* Ad-hoc financial analysis as required by the supply chain and commercial teams to aid decision making
Key experience and attributes;
* Minimum 2 years of relevant job experience in an analytical role
* Advanced handling of analytical and reporting in Excel
* Strong modelling skills
* Self-starter
* Good planning and organisation skills
