Key Responsibilities of the Electrical and Software Engineering Manager:
* Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team across both electrical and software disciplines.
* Oversee the design, development, and testing of bespoke engineering systems — from concept through to commissioning.
* Work closely with mechanical engineers, production staff, and project managers to ensure technical alignment and project success.
* Manage resource allocation, team performance, and project timelines to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
* Implement and uphold best practices in engineering standards, compliance, and documentation.
* Drive ongoing process improvement and technical innovation across the department.
* Report to senior stakeholders and help shape technical strategy and delivery frameworks.
About You
* Proven experience in a senior engineering or team leadership role, managing electrical and/or software engineering projects.
* Strong technical grounding in control systems, automation, or engineering integration.
* Comfortable leading projects from early-stage design to final handover.
* Excellent team leadership, mentoring, and performance management skills.
* Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
* Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
