Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client, a water solutions specialist, who is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team in the Southern region.
The role will be predominantly home-based with external travel to and from clients in the Southern region, and the majority of the work will be working with Thames and Southern Water.
Sales Manager Job Overview
* Understanding prospective customer requirements and presenting tailored products and solutions that effectively address those needs.
* Building and strengthening relationships with senior contractors and utility providers through strong industry knowledge and engagement.
* Developing and maintaining in-depth technical understanding of new and existing water-related solutions to ensure customers receive the most appropriate and effective technical outcomes.
* Delivering against agreed sales objectives by proactively securing new clients while recommending relevant products, solutions, and services to support the evolving needs of existing customers.
* Identifying, planning, and developing market opportunities, including the execution of up-selling and cross-selling initiatives.
* Managing ongoing communication with customers and key contacts to maintain high levels of satisfaction across the network.
* Gathering and analysing market intelligence related to rental offerings, solution development, and long-term strategic planning.
Sales Manager Requirements
* High Tier 1 contractor knowledge
* 3–5 years of experience in a comparable role, working with similar products or within a technical environment. Experience within the industrial sector would be beneficial.
* Strong interest in technical products, prior exposure to water technology is considered an advantage.
Sales Manager Salary & Benefits
* Up to £70,000 (depending on experience)
* 25 days annual leave per year plus statutory bank holidays.
