CNC Setter (Milling or Turning) We are representing a precision engineering business operating within a project-based, special-purpose build environment. Due to increased demand across ongoing technical programmes, positions are now available for CNC Setters (Milling or Turning) to join a multi-disciplinary manufacturing team producing tight-tolerance components for complex mechanical assemblies. These roles are intended for individuals who are committed to developing their skillset and progressing into CNC programming as part of their long-term career. Key Responsibilities Setting and operating CNC mills or lathes (multi-axis). Producing precision components to tight engineering tolerances. Carrying out in-process inspection using micrometres, bore gauges and callipers. Adjusting tooling, offsets and machining parameters to maintain accuracy. Interpreting complex technical drawings, including GD&T. Working collaboratively with engineering and quality teams across bespoke build projects. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area. Undertaking structured training with the expectation of progressing to CNC programming duties. Shift Pattern & Pay Double Day Shift: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 (weekly rotation) Rate: £15–£16 per hour Overtime and additional benefits available.
