What'll Be Doing
* Designing and prototyping user journeys, wireframes, and interactive UI concepts
* Conducting usability testing and refining designs based on user feedback and research insights
* Translating complex user and system requirements into clean, accessible interface designs
* Building responsive front-end applications using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
* Developing reusable UI components and maintaining consistent design systems
* Ensuring accessibility compliance and adherence to inclusive design standards
* Integrating front-end applications with backend APIs and data services
* Optimising performance for secure, low-bandwidth, or constrained environments
* Collaborating within Agile teams alongside developers, researchers, and architects
Main Skills Needed
* Strong experience in front-end development using React, Angular, or Vue
* Solid technical ability in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
* Proven UX capability including wireframing, prototyping, and user flow design
* Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA or equivalent)
* Experience working with APIs and JSON-based data integration
* Familiarity with Agile delivery environments (Scrum or Kanban)
* Experience in secure, regulated environments such as government or defence sectors
* Understanding of Secure by Design and DevSecOps principles
