We are appointing two Multi-Skilled Engineers (Electrical Bias) to join a reactive engineering team within a well-run, structured food manufacturing environment.
This is not a stepping-stone role. We are looking for engineers seeking long-term stability within a business that values consistency, accountability and high technical standards.
The Role
You will form part of a shift-based engineering team responsible for:
*
Reactive breakdown response across fast-paced production lines
*
Electrical and mechanical fault-finding on plant and process equipment
*
PLC diagnostics and fault investigation
*
Supporting uptime and production continuity
*
Working within a structured, compliance-driven environment
Shift Pattern:
4 on / 4 off – 2 days, 2 nights
What We’re Looking For
This role requires genuine electrical strength, not light exposure.
Essential:
*
Clear electrical bias
*
18th Edition qualification
*
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
*
Strong PLC fault-finding capability
*
Confident fault-finding across motors, drives, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics and general plant equipment
*
Background within food manufacturing or FMCG production
You must be comfortable working in a reactive environment where downtime matters and response speed impacts output.
The Right Profile
We are looking for engineers who:
*
Value structured environments
*
Prefer stability over job-hopping
*
Take pride in fault diagnosis, not part-swapping
*
Want to embed within a team long-term
