Located on Wardour Street, Williams & Hirst is Soho’s leading 18-chair co-working hair salon – a multi-award-winning space that brings together independent stylists in a vibrant, collaborative environment. The Role
As Head of Front of House, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the salon. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone highly organised, proactive, and personable. You’ll manage the front-of-house team, oversee bookings and client care, maintain presentation standards, manage stock and rotas, and ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service.
* Manage client check-ins, bookings, and ensure smooth salon operations.
* Prepare and serve client refreshments to a high standard.
* Maintain salon presentation, tidiness, and cleanliness at all times.
* Oversee stock control, deliveries, and product displays.
* Manage front-of-house rotas, holidays, and daily staffing schedules.
* Handle client and stylist queries, feedback, and concerns professionally.
* Support the salon directors with daily operational and administrative tasks.
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements
* Proven experience in a Front of House management or supervisory role, ideally within hospitality, beauty, or retail.
* Confident, people-oriented, and highly approachable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent English and strong written and spoken communication skills are essential.
* Strong leadership, organisation, and multitasking abilities.
* Professional, calm under pressure, and detail-focused.
* Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays.
