Role and key responsibilities for Housing Officer
* Visiting tenants in their own homes
* Receiving and investigating complaints and incidents of Anti Social Behaviour or other tenancy condition breaches
* Completing fire safety audits
* attending meetings, case conferences, working parties, court hearings, tenancy review hearings and evictions as directed
* Supporting tenants with vulnerabilities
* Attending child protection conferences
* Recovery of rent arrears and maximisation of rental and other income for all council services
Minimum Requirements for Housing Officer
* Previous experience required
* Previous experience using NEC database (advantageous)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Possess detailed knowledge and understanding of Housing Management
* Ability to prioritise own workload
* Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
* Ability to deal with stressful and emotional situations
Pay rate: £16.26 - £17.51 per hour
Working hours:
Part time 18h per week
Part time: 18 hours per week between
Monday - Friday
09:00 - 17:00
