Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Medicinal Chemistry
The University of Bath and the University of Plymouth have collaborated with NHS England to establish a new School of Pharmacy at the University of Plymouth. The highly successful Bath MPharm is now being delivered on site in purpose‑built facilities. We are recruiting a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Medicinal Chemistry who will be based primarily in Plymouth but employed by the University of Bath to support delivery of this new MPharm degree. The successful candidate will begin in August or September 2026.
About the Role
Provide high‑quality teaching and assessment across the MPharm programmes, support individual learners, and contribute to the successful delivery of the new school of pharmacy. Work collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues across both the Bath and Plymouth universities. The role offers flexibility, including hybrid working, full or part‑time schedules, and job sharing.

* Passion for this innovative project and producing the pharmacists of the future
* Willingness to contribute to the day‑to‑day running of the department
Additional Information
There is one post available at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level (1.0 FTE) in Medicinal Chemistry. Appointment will occur at the appropriate grade (7, 8 or 9) depending on experience. Flexibility in working arrangements, including full or part‑time and job sharing, is welcomed.
